A Couple of Berens

"Snow Patrol" ink on paper on panel

"April Lady" ink on paper on panel

I got a couple of older paintings by Chris Berens in yesterday, to keep behind my desk to show people who were interested in his work and technique. Needless to say I had collectors who insisted on buying them! I'll have them for the next month though, so if you want to see them come on by!
And just shoot us an email to be on Chris' preview list for his upcoming show at Roq la Rue...we saw a preview of the work and it's stunning.

Castillo/Despain opening

Last night was the opening for Brian Despain and Victor Castillo's new exhibitions. I took a few quick snaps early in the evening...

Brian Despain

Our man Brian dropped off his fantastic new paintings at the gallery while we were working over time to get the space, show, and website finished!
Here's a pic of the man himself leveling his painting "Ghosts".
