Roq'in Tokyo

We just returned from a quick trip to Tokyo to see Mark Ryden's "Snow Yak" show. While there we were joined by artist Chris Berens, his gorgeous girlfriend Esther and Robbert van Hamm from Jaski Gallery. We took a few pics of the show- enjoy!
(We also blogged the show for Hi Fructose and Boing Boing- more pics there)

Chris Berens has a Blade Runner moment.

Tim Biskup had a great mini show in Tokyo the day before Mark's...

Christian van Minnen sneak peek

In March we are opening a new show featuring the neo-grotesque work of painter Christian van Minnen. Like a strange cross between Giuseppe Arcimboldo, H.R. Giger, and a natural history museum, van Minnen's painting straddle the line between disturbingly ugly and serenely beautiful. Here is a sneak peek from his upcoming show!
